Slovenia is located in Eastern Europe between Croatia, Hungary, Austria, and Italy. It was once a part of Communist Yugoslavia. They gained their independence in 1991. Slovenia has a population of more than 2 million people, but no Baptist Churches or missionaries. At this point, there are very few missionaries of any kind. We see this as a great opportunity to present the Gospel to people who have never heard even a distortion of the Truth.
